Agreement

These terms apply when you book or receive services from Detail Guyz Detailing, 54949 Cabrillo Dr, Macomb, MI 48042, phone (586) 684-5906, email [email protected]. Booking a detail means you accept them.

Our Services

We provide interior and exterior vehicle detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, and marine detailing, delivered either at your location or at our shop in Macomb, MI. Quotes are based on the vehicle's condition as described to us. If the actual condition differs materially (heavy pet hair, biohazard, mold, deep contamination), we will tell you before starting and agree a revised price with you.

Booking, Deposits and Cancellation

• Appointments are confirmed by phone, text, email, or online booking.
• Standard details do not require a deposit. Larger jobs such as multi-stage paint correction and ceramic coating may require one, which will be stated up front.
• Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
• We may need to reschedule mobile exterior work in unsuitable weather. If that happens you get the next available slot or the option to bring the vehicle to our bay, at no extra charge.

Mobile Service Requirements

For work at your location we need safe, legal access to the vehicle and enough room to work around it. Please remove personal belongings, valuables, and anything you do not want handled. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise. We accept card, cash, and digital payment. Prices are quoted in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated.

What We Can and Cannot Promise

Detailing improves the condition of a vehicle; it does not make it new. Specifically:

• Paint correction removes defects only within the clear coat. Scratches through the clear coat, deep stone chips, and prior bodywork cannot be polished out, and we will always tell you before starting what we expect to achieve.
• We take a paint depth reading before machine polishing and will decline work that would risk burning through thin or previously corrected paint.
• Some stains, odors, dye transfer, and UV damage are permanent. We will say so rather than promise a result we cannot deliver.
• Pre-existing damage (failing clear coat, rust, cracked trim, worn leather, loose emblems) may become more visible once dirt is removed, and may worsen during normal cleaning. We are not liable for the failure of components that were already compromised.

Ceramic Coating

Coating durability depends on how the vehicle is washed and stored. Any durability figure we quote assumes proper maintenance washing and no automatic brush car washes. Coating warranties, where offered, are stated in writing at the time of sale.

Concerns With Our Work

We walk the vehicle with you before we leave. If something is not right, tell us then and we will correct it on the spot. If you notice something afterwards, contact us within 48 hours and we will make it right where the issue relates to work we performed.

SMS Text Messaging Terms

You consent to receive texts by checking the SMS box on one of our forms, by texting us first, or by asking us to text you. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. You must be the account holder of the mobile number, or have permission from them, and you must be 18 or older.

How we handle the information behind those messages is set out in our Privacy Policy. Opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.

Photography

We photograph our work for our portfolio and social media. Vehicles are shown without license plates or identifying details. Tell us before we start if you would prefer your vehicle not be photographed and we will respect that.

Liability

We carry insurance and take care with every vehicle. Our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Macomb County, Michigan.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you book.
