Our Detailing Process
Decontaminate
Clay bar pulls bonded salt, film, and grit out of the paint before any machine work.
Machine Correct
Single or multi-stage polishing levels swirls, oxidation, and etching from the clear coat.
Protect
A wax, sealant, or coating (add-on) locks in the corrected finish before salt and UV return.
How You’ll Know The Work Was Done Right
Good work shows the moment you see your car in the light. The paint looks deep and glossy from every angle. Swirl marks are gone under direct sun, and the finish feels smooth to the touch.
Before we leave, we walk around your car with you under proper lighting. We show you the panels we corrected and the difference in each one. You see the results yourself.
To hold that finish, wash with clean tools and skip automatic brushes. A fresh layer of protection guards against Macomb salt and summer UV. Club members have it kept topped up all year.

Yes. We are a mobile operation first. We bring water, power and lighting to your home or office anywhere in Macomb County and most of Oakland County. We also have a bay for correction and coating work that needs a controlled space.
A full exterior detail usually runs two to four hours depending on size and condition. Paint correction is a half to a full day. Ceramic coating is typically an overnight job because the coating needs cure time.
It depends on the vehicle and its condition, which is why nobody honest quotes a flat rate sight-unseen. Send a couple of photos or call us and you will get a real number, not a range.
Not necessarily. Plenty of customers leave the keys and a hose bib open and come back to a finished car. We will text you photos when the work is done.

We focus on paint: correction, coating and exterior work. Interior detailing is something we keep for the cars we already look after, so once you are a Detail Guyz client it opens up to you.
